Topic:  Attachment and Eating Disorders: The Transformative Power of Connection
Objectives:

1)    The participants will be able to explain the four different developmental attachment styles and one’s corresponding perception of safety

2)   The participants will be able to name the three neurological pathways identified in the poly vagal theory and how it impacts eating disorder treatment. 

3)   The participant will be able to evaluate the impact of insecure attachments on the successful ability to develop and maintain healthy relationships. 

4)   The participant will be able to explain the vital role that social connection plays in healing and recovering from an eating disorder.
