Description:

Do you ever feel like there is just too much to learn to become a confident provider?  Do you fear that you are missing skills and knowledge that you need to feel completely confident as an eating disorder specialist?  Clinical confidence takes time and practice (mastery) but you want to be sure that you are on the right path to reach your destination.  In this discussion, we will explore the core skills, experiences and knowledge that are crucial to becoming an expert in this field.  You’ll have a “road map” to becoming a confident eating disorder specialist.

Objectives:

You will be able to identify the key skills for eating disorder specialists for all disciplines

You will understand the core knowledge necessary to guide a client through the process of recovery

You will have resources to enhance your current practice with client and opportunities to pursue additional learning that will enhance your role as an eating disorder specialist
