Phone: 512-470-4419

Tammy obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Texas at Austin in 1999 and her Master of Arts, also in psychology, from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 2002.  She currently holds a license in Professional Counseling issued by the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Counsel.  Tammy has worked extensively with families in various settings ranging from an adjudication center, to family shelter, foster care, treatment centers, and the public school system.  Previously an Adjunct Professor at UMHB and Temple College, Tammy has taught general and developmental psychology courses at the undergraduate level.  She also spent one year focusing almost exclusively on the treatment of eating disorders when she served as the Clinical Director and developed the program curricula for a new treatment facility in Austin in 2008.

Throughout the past twenty years she has maintained a private practice, collaborating with other mental health professionals and members of the legal community to establish standards of practice for therapeutic intervention with families involved in high conflict divorce disputes.  Ms. Corrales has developed a passion for educating parents, teachers, and the general public about the challenges facing those living with ongoing, destructive conflict within the family system.  As a result, she has served on panel discussions and presented to audiences on various college campuses, professional conferences, and community organizations.  Specialized trainings include dispute resolution, collaborative law, trauma intervention and various modalities focused on the treatment of eating disorders.
