Unhealthy relationships with food and body are now so widespread as to be almost a collective human experience. Many of my clients have recognized their struggle to relate healthily to the food they eat, perhaps engaging in disordered eating behaviors, experiencing dissatisfaction with their bodies, or having a full-blown eating disorder (i.e., Anorexia, Bulimia, or Binge-Eating disorders). I use the Health at Every Size® and Intuitive Eating perspectives to counteract the harmful messages of diet culture, fatphobia, and weight stigmatization, and help my clients make peace with food and their bodies.
