Jopling Nutrition LLC
My nutrition philosophy is that all foods fit, and how they fit looks different for each and every individual. I believe in collaboration with all my clients while still pushing you to achieve a healthy relationship with food. I want to help guide you to build in your own food values, challenge food rules and beliefs, break down nutrition myths, and help create a safe space with food. We will work together to get to the root of your food issues, and discover what is like to trust your body again.
Born and raised in New York, I completed all of my education and credentialing there as well. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from Syracuse University and a Master’s degree in Nutrition from New York University. I obtained my Registered Dietitian certificate from Sage College in upstate NY. After a few years working in the hospital setting, I began working in the partial hospitalization level of care with eating disorders for 3 years here in Austin, Texas. For the past few years I have found the most joy working with clients individually in the private practice setting.
Although I sometimes miss the big city lights, I have absolutely loved living in Austin the past 6.5 years, even losing some of that NY accent and adopting “ya’ll” in to my everyday language. In my free time you’ll find me spending lots of time outside with my husband, our 3 year old daughter, new baby girl, and our 2 dogs. In addition to our time hiking and swimming outside, I love experimenting in the kitchen and trying new restaurants around town!
