Emily Van Eck is a registered dietitian and certified intuitive eating counselor who specializes in eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image healing. Her approach is grounded in Health at Every Size®, intuitive eating, and trauma-informed care. She supports clients of all sizes, genders, and identities in rebuilding trust with food and their bodies—without shame or restriction.

Emily’s work goes beyond nutrition to include emotional support, body image processing, and unlearning harmful cultural messages about food, health, and weight. She integrates evidence-based nutrition therapy with feminist, anti-oppression frameworks to help clients create a more peaceful and empowered relationship with food and self.

Based in Austin, Texas, Emily sees clients virtually across multiple states and also offers group programs focused on food freedom, body respect, and sustainable well-being.

Fees and Types of Insurance Accepted:

Emily is out-of-network with insurnace in Texas. Superbills are provided for insurance reimbursement upon request. HSA and FSA cards are accepted.

Standard rates:

Initial 80-minute assessment: $225

50-minute follow-up sessions: $175

25-minute brief follow-up: $95

Sliding scale spots are available on a limited basis. Emily believes that access to care matters and is happy to discuss options based on financial need. Courses and group coaching are lower cost options.
